Clarkson names local Presidential Scholars, Dean’s List honorees
POTSDAM — Five Tri-Lakes area students have been named Presidential Scholars for the spring 2021 semester at Clarkson University.
Presidential Scholars must achieve a minimum 3.8 grade-point average and carry at least 14 credit hours.
¯ Phillip J. Buck of Saranac Lake, a senior majoring in aeronautical engineering
¯ Beth Ann Fisher of Lake Placid, a sophomore majoring in environmental science and policy
¯ Elliott John Fletcher of Tupper Lake, a junior majoring in civil engineering
¯ Yurgen C. Hohmeyer of Lake Clear, a junior majoring in mechanical engineering
¯ Andrew Trudeau of Tupper Lake, a senior majoring in biology.
Also, five Tri-Lakes area students were named to Clarkson’s Dean’s List for the spring 2021 semester. Dean’s List students must achieve a minimum 3.25 grade-point average and also carry at least 14 credit hours.
¯ Jacob Perri Adams of Lake Clear, a sophomore majoring in mechanical engineering
¯ Addie Friedlander of Lake Placid, a junior majoring in biology
¯ Jeffrey Scott LaVair of Saranac Lake, a sophomore majoring in civil engineering
¯ Elijah Richard Land of Lake Clear, a sophomore majoring in mechanical engineering
¯ Lorenzo Villani of Bloomingdale, a senior majoring in computer science.
