Saranac Lake Kiwanians switch one meeting a month to evenings

SARANAC LAKE — The Saranac Lake Kiwanis Club now has a regular evening meeting on the first Thursday of every month at the Blue Moon Cafe.

Evening meetings start at 5:40 p.m. Regular Kiwanis morning meetings will continue at the Blue Moon on all other Thursdays at 7:40 a.m. Anyone is welcome to attend and learn about Kiwanis projects such as the upcoming bike rodeo or bags for foster children’s belongings.

At the first evening meeting on Thursday, March 5, Hannah Pelletieri was the guest speaker. She presented on Mercy Care for the Adirondacks, whose mission is to help relieve the isolation and loneliness many elders experience living in their community, and to enhance their fullness of life.
