Local students named to St. Lawrence University dean’s list

CANTON – The following students have been selected for inclusion on the Dean’s List for academic achievement during the Fall 2018 semester at St. Lawrence University.

-Lucy S. Hochschartner of Lake Placid. Hochschartner is a member of the Class of 2020 and is majoring in environmental studies-government.

-Alexis E. Joy of Au Sable Forks. Joy is a member of the Class of 2019 and is majoring in statistics and art and art history.

-Connor J. Farmer of Saint Regis Falls. Farmer is a member of the Class of 2021 and is majoring in government. Farmer attended Saint Regis Falls Central School.

Kroes earns Dean’s Award at Colgate U.

HAMILTON – Kylie Kroes, a member of the Colgate University Class of 2022, has earned the fall 2018 Dean’s Award for Academic Excellence.

Kroes is a graduate of Northwood School from Lake Placid. Kroes’s current major is Biology.

GENESEO — Benjamin Geiger of Tupper Lake was named to the State University of New York at Geneseo’s dean’s list for the fall 2018 semester.
