Judy Steinberg, biology professor at North Country Community College, recently traveled to Honduras with a Medical Brigade to provide dental, vision and other medical services to those who would otherwise go without. She is shown here at the Rotary Club of Saranac Lake where she is a member and chair of the polio eradication committee. At the same meeting, she briefed the club on the world-wide progress being made on that front toward which the club routinely raises money. On Nov. 4, the club will hold their annual Pins Against Polio event at Romano's Bowling Lanes for that effort. All are welcome.
