Paul Smith’s College announces dean’s list

St. Lawrence University announces dean’s list

CANTON – The following students have been selected for inclusion on the Dean’s List for academic achievement during the Spring 2017 semester at St. Lawrence University.

Hannah M. Doro of Keene Valley. Doro is a member of the Class of 2019 and is majoring in biology and anthropology. Doro attended Ellicottville Central School.

To receive president’s list honors, full-time students must earn a semester grade point average of 3.75 or higher on a 4.0 scale.

Part-time students get honors at SUNY Canton

CANTON — SUNY Canton recognizes its part-time students for academic success during the spring 2017 semester.

Part Time Honors recognize students who earned at least a 3.25 GPA in 6 to 11 credits of course work. It stands alongside the college’s Dean’s List and President’s List as the top awards given for academic success during a semester at the college.

Farmer earns degree at Siena College

LOUDONVILLE – Jason Farmer of Saranac Lake earned a bachelor’s degree from Siena College at the commencement ceremonies at the Times Union Center in Albany.

Morrisville State College accounces dean’s list

MORRISVILLE –  Morrisville State College recently announced the students who were named to the dean’s list for the Spring 2017 semester.

To be named to the dean’s list, a student must achieve an average of 3.0 to 3.99 for the semester and complete 12 credit hours.

POTSDAM — Emily Lynn Fountain of Lake Clear received awards during the spring semester at Clarkson University.

Fountain, a senior at Clarskon University majoring in communication, received the Communication & Media Senior Award, given to an outstanding Communication senior.

ALBANY – The University at Albany congratulates more than 3,400 students who were named to the Spring 2017 Dean’s List. Students named to the Dean’s List earned at least a 3.5 GPA.

CASTLETON, Vermont — Castleton student Jennifer McGuoirk of Vermontville was recently named to the president’s list for the spring semester of the 2016-17 academic year.

Locals named to the dean’s list at Saint Rose

ALBANY — The College of Saint Rose congratulates the 704 students named to the dean’s list for the spring 2017 semester.

To make the dean’s list, students had to complete a minimum of 12 credit hours and achieve a semester grade-point average of at least 3.5 with no grades of D, F, Incomplete or Pass/Fail.

MIAMI — Edward Yanchitis IV receieved his bachelor’s degree in political science and economics on May 12 from the University of Miami.
