Bolton runs past Blue Bombers

BOLTON LANDING — The Lake Placid girls basketball team fell 57-33 in a road game against Bolton on Thursday.

The Blue Bombers struggled early on offense, netting just 10 points in the opening half, and also had a tough time containing Maria Baker and Katelyn Van Auken, who combined for 41 of the Eagles points. Baker finished with a game-high 21 points and Van Auken tossed in 20.

Deidra Kellerman had a solid showing for Lake Placid, finishing with a team-high 11 points.

The Blue Bombers are slated to be back in action again Friday at home against Wells starting at 5:30 p.m.
