SARANAC LAKE — The Saranac Lake Fun Run Series continued on Thursday with racers of all ages taking on a variety of distances.

The kids’ races included distances of a quarter-mile, half-mile and a full mile. “Adult” races included courses of 2, 2.8 and 3.8 miles over the Hilly Man course in Saranac Lake.

The Thursday Night Fun Run series takes place every Thursday through Aug. 30, with registration opening at 5:30 p.m., followed by the runs at 6 p.m. sharp. The adult runs range between 2 and 5 miles and are held on different courses in the village each week. The Fun Runs are organized by volunteers and sponsored by the village of Saranac Lake and the Kiwanis Club of Saranac Lake. There is no fee to participate in the fun runs.
