Red Storm fall to Plattsburgh
SARANAC LAKE — The Saranac Lake boys basketball team suffered another lopsided loss Thursday, falling 60-33 at home to Plattsburgh in Champlain Valley Athletic Conference action.
The loss was the 11th straight for the Red Storm, who have posted just one victory, which came in their season-opener against Lake Placid.
In Thursday’s matchup, Plattsburgh raced out to a 35-16 halftime edge. Eight players scored for the Hornets. Andrew Cutaiar led the way with 11 points and Andrew Follmer chipped in 10.
Jarrett Ashton paced Saranac Lake with eight points and Emery Swanson scored six in the loss.
