YouKnowImRight How about if everyone bought CO2 generators and pumped the max CO2 into the air? According to the Great Global Warming MYTH we would warm up and not have to worry about winter anymore! Think of the money we'd save!

If people were banned it would eliminate all the problems.

"sparks setting off uncontrolled wild fires" Why yes LinjiS, NYS is scared by these Forest Fires. Just look out your window and see the scares, right? NOT! Even the fires in California are caused by lightning and arson, not burning brush.

"Climatologists have said that the ice cap at the North Pole has thinned so much, that there is a 50/50 chance the North Pole will be void of ice this September." Actually, the Woods Hole Oceanographic Group has found that Volcanoes along the Gakkel Ridge under the sea ice are erupting. This is spewing Co2 and warming the water. This has been reported by the National Science foundation, NASA and WHOI in Live Science.

Malarkey! One again everyone is over reacting. Should a brush burning ban be implemented in rural agriculture areas you would add one more expense to struggling farmers, yes even organic growers will see an increase in cost and necessitate passing that cost along to consumers. Burning brush to clear land has been a mainstay since colonial times. Controlled burning not only clears the land but adds needed nutrients to the soil. We are over regulated and over taxed as it is.

It isn't just a matter of our air, which would be enough, it is also a matter of sparks setting off uncontrolled wild fires.

"these three, acid rain, greenhouse effect and how burning contributes to them are theories, not fact!" They arent theories, they are observations. I think the question should be how much of a difference will banning outdoor burning make. Thats not a theory either - just math.

"Any kind of burning adds to acid rain & green-house effect." Give me a break! These three, acid rain, greenhouse effect and how burning contributes to them are theories, not fact! Even the UN has changed their rhetoric from Global Warming to Climate Change.

I know it's much more convenient to burn brush rather than chip it. Burning costs nothing wheras chipping costs $$. Then there's the question of where do you put the chips.

Any kind of burning adds to acid rain & green-house effect. Wood, oil, gas, etc. Climatologists have said that the ice cap at the North Pole has thinned so much, that there is a 50/50 chance the North Pole will be void of ice this September.

Difficult choices need to be made which will lead to even more difficult actions. The time is now.
