Unionbusting Undemocratic

The US Chamber of Commerce, the Koch brothers, national and multinational corporations and the government are all behind the anti-union movement. The media and many politicians are owned by these entities. Unfortunately, many Americans have succumbed to the constant drumbeat of negativity promoted by these forces. Public and private sector unions are under attack. The relentless onslaught from the “Right” and neoliberal Democrats for over thirty years has razed hard-won achievements of unions and social justice movements and is destroying the middle class. Organizing is the only way workers, unemployed and poor might ever overcome this momentum toward tyranny and oppression.

This is also a dilemma for them. C'est aussi un dilemme pour eux.

OK how's this?

3. Même avec de longues syndicats établis

seeing stars, you're either quite young and immature posing as a teacher or what I'm more inclined to believe is a badly damaged adult child with incredibly deep issues. You're able in cyberworld to act out, aren't you? You feel like hurting someone else because underneath it all, you're a little child, stunted emotionally and in a lot of repressed pain yourself. You lack the skills to address your pain, but in cyberworld it's a little more bearable, isn't it? Seek help. There's plenty available. Google it.

The most interesting aspect of Walker’s unencumbered moral values during his telephone conversation with Ian Murphy, (blogger from Buffalo impersonating David Koch, billionaire financier and corporate donor to Walker), is what he said about why he didn’t go ahead with plans to “seed” the crowd of demonstrators with agitators. He said the ensuing “ruckus” would have led to the citizens -who would have assumed it was genuine citizen anger -clamoring for him to make concessions toward the union’s favor, while continued peaceful protest would be eventually ignored by the media. Man, does that say a lot!

CNSTARS, iceman and bjccd5, why don’t you just admit that the subject of union-busting has become boring to you, yet you’d like to keep the relationship alive by your mutual convenience so as to provide further enjoyment by sparking new growth in challenges outside of the topic? Departure from the topic by introducing other topics will undoubtedly require extensive inputs of energy and time to increase the quality of experience for the three of you, who are, by the way, certainly a waste of my time, though I will attempt to indulge you temporarily.

Union leaders such as Lewis, Meany and Reuther created the paradigm which eventually raised the standard of living for every American. Wages rose for unionized and non-unionized companies across the US and private pensions swelled while health-care benefits expanded. The 40 hour work week and paid vacations entered. Unions made the economy work for the middle class. In fact, unions as much as created the middle class. It was their decline- in large part from the worst President in US history, Ronald Reagan- that turned the economy over backwards and made the country a playground for business and finance.

You people are like stinky pine bugs around a hot lamp flitting about projecting your own unacceptable qualities onto me. Get over yourselves. You don’t have to hate the messenger of new or different ideas that scare you. It’s natural to fear things you at first can’t comprehend. Reduce your anxiety, folks. Take a deep breath and return to the topic which is “Union-busting is Undemocratic”! It’s in the news a lot lately and as such should be a timely subject here on this Forum.

When will you guy's and gal's get the hint? Wilford is never wrong, and will challenge every point against her will, to the point of exhausting rhetoric. She attempts to stiffle any differing opinions with a vocabulary that even Webster is turning over, over. Give up the intelligent compromise folks and allow her to feel superior. That is all it is about to her. Self-perceived dominance = Narcisim at it's finest!!!

So Iceman, I’m trying to do a little math here. You hired one union worker who was excellent and the other 20 (1 + 20 = 21) were useless so you got one excellent union employee and fired 19 (1 + 19 = 20). 21 – 20 = 1. What happened to the other union worker? Math isn’t one of your strong points is it? I’ll tell you another one of your not-so-much strong points: discussing something you know very little about. Here’s a math problem for you: If each digit is worth one point, how many fingers and toes above a 70 I.Q. are you?

Wilford you actually did some work? That is against the union doctrine. I might have to report you. But if you did union work it was probably a useless mess. I have hired union skilled personnel One was excellent the other 20 were completely useless. So I got one excellent and fired 19. I watched those idiots finish a task, undo it and start again, twice before I fired the SOB. Keep trying to tell the tales you are very entertaining from your Currier & Ives bubble snowstorm.

Why support a policy that will destroy those humans working for an honest living instead of reigning in those union leaders that are abusing their positions? While you call for the systematic dismantling of unions, will that reduce the number of calls to the police, fire departments or emergency rooms? There is an increasing demand for trained public servants and also note even the term “qualified” has a legal definition in many occupations now. Throwing the baby out with the bathwater makes no sense. Governor Walker needs to kick his Koch addiction.

Iceman, I heard your illegal hero from Wisconsin on the phone colluding with the pseudo David Koch for his standard fare fraudulent conspiracy to bust unions. Sick.

…”instability in the mind-set”…”mood swings”…so says CNSTARS the forum troll! Wilford says this: You perceive all these defects in me rather than identify the many malicious, protagonist characteristics in you. Go ahead and deny having issues. I know you’re unable to recognize your own undesirable aggressive traits while seeing others acting with those motives. I’ve read your blather toward me and others. What say you about unions? Remember the topic? Anything new to provide...or more of the same?

CN: What on earth do you teach? Body and Fender? You sure are not involved in the english, literature, reading comprehension, libary or typing departments. Your attention to detail is about as lacking as I've seen on a forum. Check your work before you hand it in. You're as digressive as they come and it shows in your random delusions mistakenly held as wisdom.

Wilford..if you presented the type of material you post here in one of my classes.. well I can see why iceman see the same in your lack of research and forethought that is embodied in your work.. a C+ maybe...
