NEW YORK (AP) — Police are looking for five suspects in a Central Park pellet attack they're investigating as a hate crime.
The New York Police Department released a video and photo Saturday of three people leaving the area and a sketch of a suspect investigators say yelled at the woman.
Police say the three men and two women struck the 36-year-old and heckled her around 12 a.m. Monday as she exited the park at West 60th Street and West Drive.
Police say the suspects, all black and between 15 and 20 years old, laughed at the woman and made anti-white statements. Police say they then fled into the park.
The woman was treated at Roosevelt Hospital for a minor laceration and pain and released.
The NYPD's Hate Crime Task Force is investigating.
