Israeli military says rockets fired during truce

August 13, 2014
Associated Press

JERUSALEM (AP) — The Israeli military says at least three rockets have been fired at Israel from Gaza.

The military says the rockets were fired late Wednesday shortly before a truce with Hamas had been set to expire at midnight.

The rocket fire comes as Palestinian officials say Hamas has agreed to extend the cease-fire with Israel for five days.

Israeli officials had no immediate comment on the extension.
