LAKE PLACID - The Lake Placid Center for the Arts will present the Atlantic City Ballet's production of "Sleeping Beauty" at 8 p.m. Saturday.

This is a dance lover's dream come true - an evening devoted to one of Tchaikovsky's finest jewels, his Sleeping Beauty. This beautiful ballet comes alive amidst a lavish set complete with magical effects and courtly splendor, while upholding the grand tradition of ballet featuring more than 30 distinguished dancers.
About Atlantic City Ballet
Founded in 1982 by Phyllis Papa, The Atlantic City Ballet serves as a prime artistic resource to the people of South Jersey. ACB offers access to fully-staged performances by a highly skilled company of professional dancers and educational programs designed to fit the needs of a diverse student population. Their community outreach initiatives encourage appreciation of and participation in the art form. At various times in its history, the ACB has been the resident dance company at Atlantic Cape Community College and Richard Stockton College in New Jersey, and the Keswick Theatre in Glenside, Pennsylvania. The Company is comprised of a culturally diverse corps of 24 versatile dancers from around the world. These exceptional dancers have earned national acclaim for their technical expertise and clarity, exuberant stage presence, and the required force, delicacy and energy necessary to interpret various musical scores and ultimately deliver performances of exceptional quality. They hail from four continents-North America, Asia, Europe, and Australia.
