To the editor:
This past weekend, on Saturday, the Adirondack Carousel had a two-hour event of free rides on the carousel. The park was packed with mostly local people taking advangage of this event. I stopped in to see my grandchild. Her other Nana, a woman in her youthful 80s, was with her. Alas, the only place to sit outside was on a ROCK. No benches anywhere for parents/grandparents to watch their children play on the playground. It seems to me that it would certainly be a bonus to have benches outside to accommodate these people. It would make the playground more friendly.
