SARANAC LAKE - The Saranac Lake Volunteer Rescue Squad recently announced the purchase of a new ambulance that will be used in its transport operations.

The SLVRS transports its neighbors to and from homes, hospitals and other care facilities 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

The squad thanks Nori's Village Market for its ongoing community spirit by recently giving them a check. Nori's donated a percentage of its income from one of the Sundays during Winter Carnival to SLVRS.
