Police ID man’s body found in Watertown river

January 23, 2014
Associated Press

WATERTOWN (AP) - Authorities say they've identified the body found floating in a northern New York river as that of a 27-year-old Watertown man.

State police announced late Wednesday night that the body found in the Black River on Tuesday had been identified as Bryan Reilly.

Troopers say Reilly's body was found by workers clearing ice at the Glen Park hydroelectric dam in Watertown.

Police say their investigation hasn't determined yet why Reilly was at the river. Police say there's no indication that any other person was involved in his death.

The cause and manner of his death remains under investigation.
