The shot heard around the state

January 22, 2014
Adirondack Daily Enterprise
Members of the Saranac Lake Fish and Game Club met at their firearm range to shoot at exactly noon Jan. 11. This gathering, along with other sporting clubs throughout New York state, was to support the repeal of the New York State S.A.F.E. act. The S.A.F.E Act mandated numerous new firearm laws many of which, according to gun owners, have created obstacles and in some cases clearly outlawed some firearms and accessories. The Saranac Lake Fish and Game Club, as with all New York state sporting clubs, is in favor of the law’s repeal.
