To the editor:
If I were a citizen in New Jersey and had cast my vote for Chris Christie for his second term as governor of New Jersey, I would feel shortchanged over the "Bridge-Gate" scandal. This whole affair reminds me of Richard Nixon during the Watergate scandal. President Nixon went on national TV and stated he was not a crook; as time passed, evidence proved he was indeed a crook. As for Chris Christie's denials of not having knowledge of what some in his administration had perpetrated, he cannot run away from the fact that he picked them because they reflected him.
