SARANAC LAKE - The January exhibit at the Adirondack Artists' Guild will be "Down on the Farm," with works by the Guild's 14 members.
Each artist will display one or two pieces relating to the theme of farms and anything having to do with farms. There will be paintings, photographs, ceramics, jewelry, and probably a few surprises included.
The exhibit will open Friday from 5 to 7 p.m. and be on display through Feb. 3.
Every month the Guild presents a new special show at the back of their gallery. Throughout the year the members have solo shows; in January there is a group show with a specific theme, in February the Guild hosts a benefit show with a silent auction, and the annual juried show occurs in March and April. This year's recipient of the benefit show in February will be Historic Saranac Lake.
