ALBANY (AP) - Wintery weather continues to extract a deadly toll on New York's roadways.
The Post-Standard of Syracuse reports that a 55-year-old man was killed in Oswego at around 3:30 p.m. Friday when he veered into oncoming traffic.
Another person died in a 5:30 p.m. crash in Sterling, northwest of Syracuse near Lake Ontario.
A cabbie in New York City was killed after striking two parked cars in a 3:30 p.m. crash.
Drivers also died Thursday evening in crashes on Interstate 87 in the Adirondacks and on Long Island's Southern State Parkway.
A snowmobiler also died in Wane County after hitting a guardrail during a 3 a.m. ride Friday in Lyons, a town between Syracuse and Rochester.
