ALBANY (AP) - Upstate New York north and west from the mid-Hudson Valley is under either a wind chill warning or advisory overnight into Saturday morning.
The National Weather Service says today the warning covering the Adirondacks and much of central New York means wind chill temperatures could reach 25 to 40 degrees below zero, while the advisory for the eastern part of the state said it could see 15 to 25 below.
The overnight forecast showed lows of 5 degrees in Buffalo, minus 4 in Syracuse, minus 21 at Old Forge in the western Adirondacks and 14 below in Poughkeepsie.
