Handmade aprons raise money

December 12, 2013
Adirondack Daily Enterprise
Anne Churcho Hoag, Tammie Salzman and Kasey Kentile show off handmade Paws for a Cause aprons last week at Cabin Fever Florals and Gifts and Park Street Hair and Nails. The aprons were made by Patti Varden and 50 percent of the profit from their sales will go directly to the American Cancer Society and the rest of the proceeds (about $10) will go toward the aprons’ materials and embroidery. “This goes hand in hand with my sister (Julie Churcho’s) passing from cancer (Nov. 22) and it’s for a good cause,” Hoag said.
