Adirondack Health employees help raise funds for United Way

To the editor:

The employees of Adirondack Health have raised an astounding $10,500 as part of the 2014 campaign for United Way of the Adirondack region.

The money raised by United Way is shared among 40 partner agencies that serve 80,000 people in Clinton, Essex and Franklin counties. By giving to the United Way, 100 percent of the donations remain local to support the agencies that help and serve our friends, neighbors and families.

We would like to express our sincere thanks to the local businesses that donated products and services to Adirondack Health in support of this year's employee campaign.

The contributions from local businesses helped elevate awareness of the United Way mission by rallying employees to give generously. Thanks to our local businesses for partnering with us - we wish you every success:
