To the editor:
Congratulations to the Enterprise for the reporting they did on NYCO and the amount of money NYCO spent to try to get the amendment passed. Of course, NYCO spent the money in what they regarded as their own best interest. This is what I believe is what any sensible person or organization will do.
Therefore, I suggest that the Enterprise do the same kind of investigative reporting on all ballot proposals the registered voters are asked to vote on, because there is always some financial interest behind them. Therefore, follow the money, and you'll learn a great deal about the who, what, when, where and why of the political machine that runs our government, state and local.
At times the paper has done a fairly good job of following the money but at other times, not so much.
