October 24, 2013
Adirondack Daily Enterprise

To the editor:

The Town of St. Armand Winter Youth Program is seeking donations. We are in need of hockey skates, figure skates, hockey sticks and other hockey equipment.

These items are kept at the Youth Commission Building located behind the Bloomingdale Volunteer Fire Department off Roosevelt Avenue in Bloomingdale. Children ages 5 to 18 are welcome to utilize this equipment and skate at the rink. This is a wonderful winter pastime and a safe place for your kids to play. Hot chocolate and coffee are available for only 50 cents!

The skating rink hours wiII be 4 to 9 p.m. Monday through Friday, Saturday and Sunday 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. - ice and weather permitting. The skating rink will open as soon as winter weather permits.

To make a donation, please contact Gail Bombard, youth program supervisor, at 518-891-3189 ext. 7, or Davina Thurston, town clerk, at 518-891-3189 ext. 3. You can also drop off your donation at the Bloomingdale town hall, Monday through Friday, regular business hours.

On behalf of the town board, St. Armand employees and the citizens of St. Armand, we would like to thank you in advance for your cooperation in this important matter.

Best regards,

Davina Thurston
