Legion donates to local nonprofit in support of vets

Homeward Bound Adirondacks received a $1,000 donation Oct. 9 from the American Legion Post 326. Commander Zay Curtis, 1st Vice Commander Bob Marvin and Post Member Joe Galone presented the check to Homeward Bound Adirondack’s staff Jordanna Mallach, Leigh Borgstrom and Harry Treadway. This donation will go to funding programming for veterans, service members and their families within the Adirondack Park. Homeward Bound is dedicated to fostering an informed veteran friendly community and is committed to providing services to help guide veterans all the way home.
