GABRIELS - The state is set to try to auction the Camp Gabriels prison again at the end of the month.

The minimum-security prison was shut down in 2009. The state has held several auctions to try to sell it, but no one has bid on it yet.

The auction is set to be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 29. The state is listing the 90.71-acre site at 737 State Route 86 as a surplus property online with a minimum bid of $90,000.

Two open houses are set to be held this month before the auction.
