SARANAC LAKE - Village police have arrested another one of the suspected drug dealers they initially weren't able to find during a series of drug raids around the community in late August.

Wesley R. Strack, 30, of Saranac Lake was arrested at 7:25 a.m. Thursday. Police Chief Bruce Nason said Strack was in Colorado when police sought him during the Aug. 28 roundup. He's since returned to Saranac Lake on his own and was located Thursday morning by police and taken into custody.

Strack allegedly sold cocaine and Suboxone to a police informant on two occasions. He was also wanted for an alleged probation violation.

Strack was charged with third- and fourth-degree criminal sale of a controlled substance, third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, two counts of fourth-degree conspiracy and violation of probation.

He was arraigned in village court and remanded to the Franklin County Jail in lieu of $25,000 cash bail or $50,000 bond.

Eighteen suspects were arrested during the Aug. 28 raids, but police weren't able to find four other people they were looking for. Two have since been arrested, Strack and Adam S. Bateman, 23, of Monson, Mass., who turned himself in at the village police station last Friday.

Police still have active warrants for Alissa R. Tucker, 19, and Nicholas B. Kolbasook, 19. Nason has said he believes they may be in the Syracuse or Albany areas.
