SARANAC LAKE - Village police have arrested one of the four suspects they were not able to find during an early morning roundup of suspected drug dealers on Aug. 28.

Adam S. Bateman, 23, of Monson, Mass., turned himself in at the village police station Friday.

Bateman was charged with three-counts of third-degree criminal sale of a controlled substance and three counts of fourth-degree conspiracy, both of which are felonies. Police said Bateman allegedly sold oxycodone and hydrocodone to a police informant on three separate occassions.

He was processed, arraigned and remanded to the Franklin County Jail in lieu of $15,000 cash bail or $30,000 bond.

Eighteen other suspects were arrested during the Aug. 28 raids. Police still have active warrants for three other people: Wesley R. Strack, 30; Alissa R. Tucker, 19; and Nicholas B. Kolbasook, 19.

Anyone with information about their whereabouts is asked to contact village police at 518-891-4422.
