Troy Corrow Recovery Fund

September 20, 2013
Adirondack Daily Enterprise

To the editor:

Dear friends, family and neighbors:

We are seeking donations to put on a fundraiser dinner at the American Legion here in Lake Placid. We have been given the hall free of charge as we are giving any money made to benefit Troy Corrow and his family to cover the extra expenses of travel to Vermont and medical expenses. We would also like to be able to have a raffle as well, if possible. Troy will have to make quite a few trips back to Vermont to get the best treatment he can have.

Troy is a 15-year-old boy who is full of life and care for others. He is in 10th grade at Lake Placid High School. Troy has many friends and loves children and animals.

He was seriously injured in a car accident on Thursday, Sept. 12. The driver was intoxicated at the time of the accident. He has suffered a head injury and internal injuries as well as a crushed leg from the hip down. He has a very long, hard to recovery ahead of him.

We would love any help you could give to make this the best fundraiser we can. We have to give Troy his best chance for a full recovery.

Thank you and best regards,

Kimberly Watson
