September 13, 2013
Adirondack Daily Enterprise
Firefighters and police look over a Jeep Cherokee that crashed on to its side while rounding a curve on McKenzie Pond Road, near Kurung Pond, outside Saranac Lake around 3:15 p.m. Thursday. The Saranac Lake Volunteer Fire Department responded to the scene with one truck and nine members. Firefighters said the driver was out of the vehicle when they arrived and was not seriously injured. They provided traffic control and stood by until the Jeep could be towed from the scene, returning to the fire station by 5:46 p.m.
