LAKE PLACID - The Lake Placid/North Elba Community Development Board invites everyone to attend a public information meeting Wednesday evening.

The purpose of the interactive forum is to gather public comments regarding the proposed comprehensive plan for the town of North Elba and the village of Lake Placid.

The village of Lake Placid and town of North Elba agreed in 2012 to split the cost of updating and revising their joint comprehensive plan. With the agreement of the town, the village applied for grant funding for the plan and received $46,400 to pursue the work.

Organizers are encouraging people who want to attend Wednesday's meeting to review the document and bring questions and comments to the meeting. The plan is available at www.roostadk.com under the "Resources" section.

Wednesday's meeting will be held at 7 p.m. at the Lake Placid Conference Center in the North Elba Room.
