ALBANY - Gov. Andrew Cuomo took a break from his storm recovery conference Thursday to talk some smack to state Sen. Betty Little about this weekend's Adirondack Challenge boat races.

Cuomo and Little participated together in a media availability during his conference on storm recovery in Albany Thursday afternoon, and after the North Country press finished asking questions about the recovery program, Cuomo joked that he had to go practice for Sunday's races.

Cuomo said he and Little are friends but that Sunday's boat races in Indian Lake are about winning.

"It's on," Cuomo told Little. "Leave friendship at the bank."
