TUPPER LAKE - Town board members have rescinded road specifications put in place in 2002.

In a unanimous vote at last week's town board meeting, they got ride of the 2002 regulations that guide things like the width and drainage for town roads.

Town Supervisor Roger Amell said that there are two sets of specs right now, and the most current ones come from the town's subdivision regulations.

Town Code Enforcement Officer Paul O'Leary said the older guidelines are more detailed, and town Attorney Kirk Gagnier advised the board it was a better way to go as well.
