Cynthia (Cindy) A. Mayotte, born Aug. 15, 1942, has died.
Our mom had a favorite saying: "It all comes full circle." Well, life came full circle for her on May 16, 2013.
Cindy was born, raised and made her home for the better part of her life in Tupper Lake. She retired from Sunmount DDSO in 2007. In 2009 she moved to New Hampshire, where she lived with her daughter and family.
Cindy was a great cook, avid reader, a Boston Bruins fan, but above all, she was an awesome mom. She had a love affair with Glazier hot dogs and shrimp.
Cindy was predeceased in death by her parents Paul and Ilean Mayotte and her longtime companion, John Jock, all from Tupper Lake.
Cindy is survived by her daughter Paula Tayag, son-in-law Reynaldo and granddaughter Gabrielle of Manchester, N.H.; her son, Darryl J. Godin, daughter-in-law Deidre, and grandchildren Matthew, Emily and Jennifer of Lake Placid; her sister Donna Haig, brother-in law Kelly, nephews Rusty, David, Daniel, Scott and niece Noelle; and her brother Wayne Mayotte, sister-in-law Lois and nieces Diana, Sheila, Chrissie and Patty.
There will be an informal graveside gathering at St. Alphonsus Cemetery, Section 4, located on Stetson Road at 11 a.m. June 29.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations can be made to Home Health and Hospice Care, 210 Naticook Road, Merrimack, NH 03054.
