Wanda Phinney, 63, of 235 Lake St., Saranac Lake, died Tuesday, May 21, 2013.

Born in Saranac Lake on Nov. 28, 1949, she was the daughter of Lyman and Julia (Lawrence) Banker.

She is survived by one daughter, Martha Phinney of Saranac Lake, and one son, Eli Phinney of Bloomingdale; two grandchildren, Darron Balsh and Ethan Phinney; one brother, Lawrence Banker of Balston Spa; and a life long friend, Mescal Thomas of Saranac Lake. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Tanya Rose Phinney; two brothers, Ernest and Sonney Banker; and five sisters: Beulah, Corrine, Phyllis, Rose and Virginia.

Funeral arrangements are in care of the Fortune-Keough Funeral Home in Saranac Lake. A graveside service will take place at 10 a.m. Wednesday, May 29, 2013, at Union Cemetery in Vermontville.
