Good things at Adult Center

May 24, 2013
Adirondack Daily Enterprise

To the editor:

Good news for the Saranac Lake Adult Center. The Adult Center was awarded a $1,750 grant from the Rotary Club of Saranac Lake for a CPR/AED (automatic external defibrillator). This means the adult center will have a CPR/AED machine on site and center director Jen Grisi is trained to use it.

Other positive activities happening at the center include the board dinner honoring our volunteers. The yard sale made $500, and that money will be used to subsidize senior activites and trips like the one to Robert Louis Stevenson's cottage. Our day trip to Glens Falls and the overnight trip to the Thousand Islands are both full.

I think the Saranac Lake Adult Center is healthy and still providing valuable services for our senior adults.

Sincerely,

Eloise Leedom
