KEESEVILLE (AP) - One of three men accused of an attack that left a northern New York man dead has been convicted of first-degree manslaughter and gang assault.

The Plattsburgh Press-Republican reported that 20-year-old Scott Denno was found guilty Wednesday by an Essex County jury.

He was arrested after 45-year-old Robert Rennie of Keeseville was found kicked and beaten to death in his Adirondacks hometown on Aug. 26.

Authorities said the leader of the attack was 40-year-old Paul Taylor, who's charged with second-degree murder, and third-degree criminal possession of a weapon. Also charged with first-degree manslaughter was 37-year-old Michael Rivers. They're also charged with gang assault. Their trials are upcoming.

Denno, Taylor and Rivers are from Keeseville.

Denno faces 25 years in prison when he's sentenced June 27.
