Saranac Lake men get prison terms in drug cases

---

A pair of Saranac Lake men have been sentenced to state prison time on drug sale and possession charges.

Heth H. Graham, 52, and Ryan Morgan, 38, were arrested in late October as part of a multi-agency roundup of suspected drug dealers in Saranac Lake.

At the time of Graham's arrest, police said he sold cocaine and was found in possession of 3-and-a-half ounces of the drug.

Graham was indicted by a Franklin County grand jury on two counts of third-degree criminal sale of a controlled substance and two counts of third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance. The charges stemmed from incidents on May 7 and Aug. 22 of last year.

In February, Graham pleaded guilty to one count of third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance in a plea deal with the county district attorney's office.

On April 29, county court Judge Robert Main Jr. sentenced Graham to four years behind bars and ordered him to pay a $2,500 fine.

Morgan was found in possession of about 2 grams of cocaine, which he was also accused of selling, at the time of his arrest.

He was indicted by a grand jury on single counts of third-degree criminal sale of a controlled substance and third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance.

In a plea deal with the prosecution, Morgan pleaded guilty in March to third-degree criminal sale of a controlled substance.

He was sentenced Monday by Judge Main to three years in state prison, a $2,500 fine and $100 restitution.
