Concetta Y. ‘Connie’ LaPointe

Concetta Y. "Connie" LaPointe, 83, of Tupper Lake, died April 19, 2013 with her family by her side.

She was born to the late Julio and Carmella Corsivo on April 11, 1930, in Syracuse. She married Albert M. LaPointe on June 2, 1951 and they lived in Syracuse before relocating to Tupper Lake in the mid 1970s.

She enjoyed cooking, baking, sewing, bowling, going to the casino and her trips to the Mohawk Bingo Palace to play bingo.

Connie is survived by her loving husband of 61 years, Albert M. LaPointe; daughter Dawn LaPointe and husband Tom VanDeuson; son Albert K. and his wife Darlene (Carey) LaPointe; daughter Concetta (Lona) Y. and her husband William Bujold; six grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.

Calling hours will be held from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, April 23 at the Stuart-Fortune-Keough Funeral Home in Tupper Lake. A funeral mass will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Wednesday, April 24 at St. Alphonsus Church in Tupper Lake. A luncheon will follow at the VFW hall in Tupper Lake.
