Anya Woods and Adam O'Neill
were married on August 18, 2012, at
Lakeland Park in Cazenovia, N.Y.
Anya is the daughter of Charles
(Sam) and Gail Woods of Cazenovia
and Adam is the son of John and
Beckie O'Neill of Saranac Lake, NY.
Anya's Maid of Honor was Marisa
Woods of Boston, and Adam's Best
Man was Luke O'Neill of Portland,
Maine. Readings were performed by
Campbell Woods, Eli Schwartzberg,
and Janelle Donovan. Wedding music
was provided by Doug Brush and
John O'Neill. Brent Freeburg and
Traegor di Pietro provided a moving,
pre-wedding tribute to the bride and groom.
The ceremony was held on a perfect summer day, with beautiful Cazenovia Lake as the backdrop.
Afterward, the wedding party traveled up the lake by boat to the reception, which was held at the la ke -
side home of Sam and Gail Woods. The reception guests were treated to an elegant outdoor banquet.
Sunset over the lake was accompanied by music, dancing, and fireworks. The wedding couple per -
formed a song with Adam on guitar/vocals and Anya on fiddle, after which Adam was joined by Doug
Brush and Luke O'Neill for one more rousing tune.
Anya is a 2000 graduate of Fayetteville-Manlius High School and holds a bachelor's degree in
English from Providence College, and a Master of Science degree from Syracuse University. She is the
Marketing Creative Director for Lesley University in Boston. Adam is a 1999 graduate of Saranac Lake
High School, holds a bachelor's degree in Environmental Studies and Entrepreneurship from UMass
Amherst, and is Co-founder and President of Broga LLC, a Boston-based health and wellness company.
The newlyweds live in Winthrop, Mass.
