LP Sinfonietta presents student wind quintet

LAKE PLACID - The Lake Placid Sinfonietta will bring the Aureus Winds, an award-winning student wind quintet to the Adirondacks from March 17 to March 19.

At 4 p.m. Sunday, there will be a public performance at St. Eustace Church on Main Street in Lake Placid, followed by a meet and greet reception at the church.

The performance is free, but donations will be accepted.

On Monday and Tuesday, the quintet will work with area students in the Tupper Lake and Lake Placid schools.

This program is supported in part with a grant from the Glenn and Carol Pearsall Adirondack Foundation.
