The Sentinel Range, right, and Pitchoff Mountain are seen Wednesday from Mount Van Hovenberg’s sliding track near Lake Placid, where the North American Cup bobsled races — a qualifier for the World Cup — are being held today through Sunday. Admission to watch costs $8 for adults or $6 for children and senior citizens.
