SARANAC LAKE - The Colby Classic Ice Fishing Derby will take place from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday and Sunday on Lake Colby.
Preregister at Blue Line Sports in Saranac Lake or register derby day, starting at 6:45 a.m. at the Beach House on Lake Colby, across from the Adirondack Medical Center in Saranac Lake.
Cost is $7 per day for adults or $10 for both days, $3 per day for youths under 16 or $5 for both days.
Categories include trout, salmon, perch and northern pike with a youth and adult division for each.
Grand prize is a charter fishing trip for two with Fish Doctor Charters of Mexico.
Fifteen tagged fish have been stocked in Lake Colby. If caught, the fisherman (or woman) will be awarded $100.
