Community Garden get-together and annual meeting

February 27, 2013
Adirondack Daily Enterprise
Students from Paul Smith’s College and Common Ground Garden members pose in front of the newly built wheelchair accessible garden beds. The beds will be available for use in 2013. Common Ground Garden is holding its winter get-together and annual meeting from 5 to 7 p.m. Sunday in the Cantwell room of the Saranac Lake Free Library. Featured speaker Dana Fast will share her observations of the effects of climate change on gardening in the Adirondacks. There will be a presentation on the garden’s projects and on reserving a plot for 2013. The group welcomes gardeners (and non-gardeners) of all levels. Those attending are asked to bring a dish to share. For more information, go to www.slgarden.com or call 518-637-6653. Common Ground Garden is a project of Adirondack Sustainable Communities Inc.
