New LPCA dance classes for youths

LAKE PLACID - The Lake Placid Center for the Arts will be hosting pre-pre primary dance classes beginning Feb. 13 in the LPCA Dance Studio at the Arts Center.

Registration is now open. Classes will be held on Wednesdays for six weeks through March 20 from 9:30 to 10 a.m.

Led by Terpsie Toon and Antonette Knoedl, of the Lake Placid School of Ballet & Dance, youngsters two and half years to three and half years of age will be introduced to basic dance and movement routines. The goal of the program is to develop listening and movement skills while having fun.

There is also room still available in the older classes including: Pre-Primary for ages 4 to 5 years, and Primary for ages 5 to 7 years.
