SOAKED SCIENTIST — Mark Wanner, like the rest of the Historic Saranac Lake contingent, is dressed as Albert Einstein, remembering how, in 1941, the famed scientist flipped his sailboat on Lower Saranac Lake and was rescued from drowning by 10-year-old Don Duso (who later became Winter Carnival Committee chairman). The message on the boat’s side says, “Sailing or sinking, it’s all relative.”
