To the editor:
Well, thus far the good folks at ARTA (Adirondack Recreational Trail Advocates) have been pretty good at begging for signatures at trade shows, etc., and publishing letters. Other than that? Reopening the UMP (unit management plan), which will spend taxpayer money. Great. Maybe they could follow the lead of the rails-and-trails group in Tupper and actually build something - not a multi-use train station; that's already been done. How about using their 10,000 strong and actually helping build a trail in Tupper? I'm sure they'd get the support needed, but it would require them to actually do something.
