SARANAC LAKE - A depleted Saranac Lake hockey team suffered its fourth straight setback Monday, dropping a 7-3 decision to St. Lawrence Central Monday at the Civic Center.
Competing without a host of injured skaters and a number who are recovering from illness, the Red Storm trailed 3-2 after one period of play. The Larries, however, took control down the stretch, outscoring the Red Storm 4-1 the rest of the way to improve to 12-3 overall.
Nate Stickney, Kody Kocsis and Lukas Arquiett each scored two goals and added one assist in the victory.
Devon Euto also had a solid game for the Larries with three assists, Blake Baldwin added a goal and an assist and Ian Lynch chipped in a pair of assists.
David Cluckey, Brad Shumway and Quinn Urquart notched a goal apiece for Saranac Lake, which was playing its third game in four days.
