Adirondack Health Foundation provides scholarships

SARANAC LAKE - The Adirondack Health Foundation has awarded $10,500 in scholarships to students pursuing an education for careers in the health-care field.

The three scholarship winners were awarded $3,500 each to assist with tuition costs. This year, all three are attending North Country Community College.

The scholarship winners are:

-Kailei Minnie, who is enrolled in the Registered Nursing Program.

-Danielle Phelan, who is enrolled in the Registered Nursing Program.

-Miranda Ward, who is enrolled in the Licensed Practical Nursing Program.

The Adirondack Health Foundation is committed to improving the health and quality of life of the individuals and communities served by Adirondack Health.

The Foundation awards three scholarships annually for approved Nursing and Allied Healthcare educational and training programs.
